My Journey to Become My Own Person By: Carrie M. Varner The journey to become my own person started in 2008 for a very unexpected reason. I had wanted to go to North Dakota and my mom was going to allow it. She went to Redwood County Human Services in Redwood Falls, Minnesota and spoke
